Scaffold Biotech S.A.S is a biotech startup from the LAB+ Company Builder Portfolio, which specializes in the rational design and development of innovative vaccines with a focus on animal health. To do this, we use the latest advances in protein engineering to turn ideas into tangible solutions. We implement a comprehensive process that ranges from in silico design to scale production, with the aim of providing high-impact products to the productive sector.
Scaffold Biotech is incubated in the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo and is looking for a highly motivated researcher – specialized technician to join our work team starting May 2, 2024 with a dedication of 40 hrs weekly.
The deadline for receiving applications will be extended until April 17, 2024.
In this role you will be responsible for:
• Contributing to the development of new veterinary vaccines, including the production of recombinant proteins and vaccine formulation.
• Participating in the research and development stages of different innovative projects to be applied to the productive sector.
• Performing laboratory tests and analyses.
• Collaborating with other scientists and researchers.
We are looking for a person with:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related areas. Having a postgraduate degree (Master’s or Doctorate) will be valued.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory, especially in the area of recombinant protein production, molecular biology and/or immunology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
