LAB+ is in the process of selecting new scientific projects

LAB+’s team is in the process of selecting new scientific projects to support and invest in.

An international call for start-ups and scientific projects was launched in August. It received a total of 52 applications from 8 countries. Since then, the LAB+ team has pre-selected 18. These projects are led by world-class scientific teams with original, patentable, or patented science.

A first round of interviews took place, where the leaders of each team presented their cases. Based on their potential and global impact, the 8 projects that best aligned with LAB+’s investment thesis were selected.

Over the next few weeks, they will be developed in preparation for a Pitch and Business Case, which the founders will present at an upcoming Demo Day to the LAB+ team and the Investment Advisory Committee.

At that stage, the projects that will go through the final due diligence process will be selected.
