Members of LAB+ and its portfolio startups took part in UM Connects, a forum organized by the University of Montevideo that brought together stakeholders from science, industry, government, and academia to discuss innovation in Uruguay.
Paul Elberse, General Partner at LAB+, participated in the panel “Science as a New Asset”, alongside Diego González Bravo (Glocal) and Roberto Loehnert (Zentynel).
Meanwhile, Juan Pablo Tosar, founder of the startup B4-RNA, joined the panel “From Science to Market”, together with Laura Macció (metaBIX Biotech) and Luca Estebenet (Epic Aerospace).
In addition, Carlos Palma, CEO of B4-RNA; Nicolás Tambucho, CEO of Guska; and Dayana Benchoam, COO of Locbio (all startups backed by LAB+), were also in attendance at the event.
